[1] Now that I test it "libxproto-composite libxproto-damage
libxproto-colorkey libxproto-resource libxres-dev libxkbfile-dev
libxdmcp-dev" packages are missing from maemo.org repository. However these
are all opensource and available from other sources (with different names,
I think).
If I download the sources from other places, what do I need to do so that
dpkg recognizes that I have thos packages?

Yeah. I've flashed the 770 plenty of times before. It's different now,
though. Every time that I boot the device, I no longer see the blue progress
bar on the bottom. And the flasher never finds my device. Did I somehow
"mildly" brick my device?
