glib without gio ?

Hi ! I'm currently writing an app for maemo, that require the GIO library (part of glib) for some basic things. I cannot find the gio library on scratchbox (nor does pkg-config). On my debian lenny, it comes with glib2.0, but apparently this is not the case on scratchbox. Is this lib packaged
