You could always send me a free 8 GB mmc card. I would offer some spare time
to test it ;-)

As I wanted to try maemo-blog, I just found out that it segfaults on my
IT2006. Do I have to meet some dependencies?
The website [1] lists xmlrpc-c 1.0 as dependency. But cannot find packages for
maemo.
Kind regards Matthias

On the other hand you could always use antiword [1].

This is why I am using a VMWare Image in VMWare Player (tm), I can share the
image to you ... just PM me.

I've created a VMWare Image which is suitable for VMWare Player. X Server is
simulated with VNC Server and when logging in as "scratchbox" user the User
is immedeatly "booted" into the Scratchbox enviornment.
If someone got some web space i could upload the image there. The image is
like 1.2 Gi
My Nokia 770 crashes on pairing. Very inconvenient! But good work ;)

I've started with a little application which listenes on dbus for certain
messages and should then be able to execute a defined script.
BUT is stopped it again.
A more simpler solution is to get root and edit
the /etc/udhcpcd/udhcpcd.script.
In there you will find a line that is something like
d that it

Strangest thing ...
try the following. Remove all Mailboxes, delete /home/user/apps/email
Then launch the e-Mail app and create a new Mailbox
I used IMAP4 mailbox and then choose advanced settings (do not quit the config
dialog !!!) and there select to download messages and attachments and
inc
Could you provide the Source?
As file sayse those binaries are:
vncviewer: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for
GNU/Linux 2.2.5, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), not stripped
So i don't think that anyone can execute a i386 binary on a real device.

i don't think so ... as you are doing this inside scratchbox nothing "bad"
could happen i think.

It would be a nice idea to start a "viewer" project within OOo to be used on
several embedded devices. Would be also nice for mobiles and pdas.

Do I understand right, that the Roadmap on the maemo.org Roadmap shows planned
things. So if I choose lets say a C++ Layer for Hildon widget set as as
summer project for me ... everybody would be happy?
