I managed to setup a VDR streaming solution to play live video streams
on the 770.
The settings I used for encoding:
"mencoder -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=64 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:mbd=1:vbitrate=300 -vf scale=352:208 -ffourcc DIVX -ofps

Hello,
I tried a couple of times to create avi-video files for the video
player with VirtualDub or PoketDivXEncoder under Windows.
It doesn't matter, what I am doing, the video-player always says:
Could not open, file-format is not supported. (I translated this
back top english since I am runni
I was thrilled to see my old favourite mailclient Pine being ported to
the 770, but unfortunately I'm having problems installing it. I'm
getting a "package incompatible" error.
I have X Terminal, bash, GPE Calendar and Contacts, Maemo Blocks, Doom
and Nako installed.
Any clues?

No, and I'd suggest you to use some downloader to get the file.
Apparently it was corrupted by your borwser or what did you use for
downloading.

I tried several times to download the ZIP file containing the new .51 firmware from the Nokia web-site but it seems to be corrupted!I tried to decompress it on two different computers, under Linux and Windows and using different unzippers, but it always failed.
Does anybody else has the same proble
