Hi today I got this update on my maemo that included Maemo 5 and some
facebook stuff. However one of the installed was actually just an
icons that send me to the app manager. This is kind of silly since I
already have the facebook widget installed. I install it because I
thought it was an actual ap
how can you enforce a regulatory domain without first knowing geo
location? this idea has been tossed around for a while, esp re Linux
drivers for software radios. good luck with that one...

I also used my N900 two weeks without a SIM card. I also didn't notice
this problem. But - I use now a very cheap 3G pre paid card which gives

Funny though that GeoIP isn't used to set the location if I have wifi
but no GPS. Why deprive yourself of a geolocalisation source?

By the way, although I think you can use it perfectly without a SIM
card, the device really shines when you have a 3G data
