And, no, it's not about open and free. Since the developers in
question are Nokia (since the comment was directed at the release of the
N810 itself, and not a request for more 3rd party development), it's
about how much effort the developers need to put into supporting
something vs. the

just what I was looking for!

Yes, Nokia doesn't support IT-2007
The easiest way is to use the shred command. It will write out the
file a specified number of times with random data, and optionally at
the end remove the file.

I use Opera on the 770 and N800, mainly because Minimo is so far
from being finished.
While Minimo works great with many sites, and is actually better on
some sites than Opera, Minimo is nowhere near a finished product and
is not usable as a production quality browser.
I'd agree with that

O.K. A question for the web browser developers. Now that Sun has
open sourced Java, how long will it be before we see it included in the
770's browser?
Sus has *not* yet open sourced Java, they announced to release the
first open source code in March 2007, IIRC. So only at that moment,
EVDO and HSDPA wireless support should also added as an optional feature.
This may require of course a new hardware release which supports one of the
cardbus formats on which the EVDO and HSDPA cards can be obtained. By way of
example, here is the url to a www page at the Linksys www site that

Hey All,
Well done Nokia on the thumb-board, I was playing with in on the
weekend and I found it very nice to use! A couple of things I haven't
managed to quite work out is how, when in the thumboard mode, how to
use/accept the intelligent text at top of the screen. Also is there a
shift option
I think that the device only supports Gtalk-Gtalk speech. SIP-based
VOIP and PSTN calls aren't supported natively, IIRC.
I should recall that Nokia stated that in the Final version of IT2006
the SIP -based VOIP would be possible, but they didnt include it in the
beta version.

I don't believe there's been any hardware changes at all. I think its
just the OS update.

I don't think so: They said option, which means, you can install a RS-MMC

I am using SuSe Linux 9.3 with kernel 2.6 version. I am feeling very happy
