Canola2 sees all the songs but no artists or albums

Hi I have this problem with Canola2, never had it with Canola1. C@ will see all the songs but will only show about 5 albums or artists even though there are about 50 or so albums on the flash drive. Any thoughts? The standard media player sees things fine, so does the recently released
