not to highjack (only slightly) the thread. But what about symbols? I've
noticed that when using the stylus keyboard there seems to be no way to lock
the symbol layout on screen. If multiple symbols are to be entered, the user
must tap the symbol key
Effectively, if I let the pen on the CAPS key of the virtual keyboard, it stays
in upper case mode !

You need long-tap on

I believe if you tap it twice it'll lock. You need to see ABC in the
bottom right, rather than Abc or abc.
