The built-in FM radio (on the N800) also uses the V4L2 interface.
Although the driver implements only what's absolutely necessary. I
haven't looked at the webcam driver, but I assume that it also only
implements what's absolutely necessary, so you may not be able to use
all features

capture API (I know , the holy grail of software but it seems to work ok under
linux, win32 and OSX) - The linux version uses video4linux
