Yes, I'm getting the same error from the admin pages too. Strange one.
Maybe I've missed something? I checked again just now - checked out commit
92356eb6a27337280e4e21659397a4dc9e62b81e (Version bump for 1.8rc2dev) and
installed to a new database. Same error.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your feedback and help. I have upgraded to 1.7.2
which has solved a few other minor issues. However I am still
experiencing a few RSS issues. They do now appear but do not update.
I tried the code you provided in my config file and get this message:

Yes, the problem is the update-pot script has failed to update the
latest master lang strings to Launchpad
I am working with sysadmins to solve this issue.
