I believe this issue has been resolved. Certainly no one has reported it

I had my mahara set the default 50 meg storage limit
Some of my media students had had their limits raised in the user settings to
500 meg or 1 gig
We then added some additional storage to the server and went to plugins
files config and raised the limit to 100 meg and
I have done some additional testing
the above bodge works for IE 10 as well
However this bodge doesn't work when upgrading the mahara 1.6 as the
structure of the themes as changed and doesn't allow it to be forced to
into IE 8 mode.

I copied in the menu nav structure from /lib/web.php
When uploading the new lib.php it breaks the content tab, the other

When using the send friend request function on mahara 1.4 with IE 7 we
get an error on the page relateding to peiform. The request does
eventually send but it takes an age. It workds fien on IE 8/ firefox/
chrome.

I've been looking into this some more.
I've tried to feed the Mahara RSS feeds
(http://mahara.midkent.ac.uk/artefact/blog/atom.php?artefact=30view=138)
into both magpie and simplepie and they don't want to work. With
simplepie I just get a blank page.

When logging into mahara 1.3 via internet explorer ( the first couple of
lines are displayed ' mahara is a fully featured', the headers and
footer also display correctly.
The help block and the rest of the main content pane doesn't display.
