Title:
Institution tags can't be used on institution content

Status in Mahara:
  Confirmed
Status in Mahara 18.10 series:
  Confirmed
Status in Mahara 19.04 series:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When an admin sets up institution tags, they are not available when
setting up institution pages or content for the institution. This will
make it harder for people using the institution tags as the
institution admin would want to use the official tags on templates
that are copied to institution members.

When a copy is made, the tags needs to retain its institution tag
  quality.

  1. Set up a couple of institution tags for an institution.
  2. Create an institution page.
Expected result: You are able to choose from the available institution tags
both as site admin and as institution admin. The site admin only sees the tags
set up by the institution for which the content is created.
Actual result: The institution tags are not available.

  Furthermore to test:
When a user copies an institution page that contains an institution tag, they
are not able to edit that tag and it counts towards the use of the institution
tag on Admin menu -> Institutions -> Tags.

Bug description:
When adding a comment to a journal entry artefact via a page we see
  the piece of information:

   Posted by [owner] on [date]

This information is correct when doing this for a user's journal but
the information is not correct if the journal is a group / institution
journal. In these cases we see:

Posted by [viewer of page] on [date]

  Steps to replicate:

  1) Login as UserA and create a group, GroupA
  2) Create a journal in the group and add a journal entry to it
  3) Add a page in GroupA and add the journal block to it and choose the group
journal
  4) Share the group page with registered users
  5) Logout

  6) Login as UserB and visit the page
  7) Click on the 'Add comment' link for the journal block

The "Posted by..." line will say UserB instead of UserA

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1814621] Re: Consolidate "My friends" and "Find people" screens

2019-02-17 Thread Lisa Seeto
After discussion with UX/Technical staff, "People" page will have only
one search drop down that can accept queries. The filter list is
"Everyone", Friends, Friend requests and "My institutions" (if
applicable).

Title:
Consolidate "My friends" and "Find people" screens

Status in Mahara:
  In Progress

Bug description:
This is similar to bug #1813500.

  1. The base template of "People" is "Find people" as it contains most
of the functionality that we need. The new URL will be
  /people/index.php

  2. To be added to that page: The filter options to filter for friends.
The filter title is "Filter friends".

  3. The "Search" filter options stay as they are.

  4. When friend requests have been made, at the top on the right-hand
side above "Send message", you see "Pending friend" and below that
there are two buttons (the small size): "Approve" and "Deny" (with
  their respective current icon).

  5. The main menu navigation item will be "People".

  6. Consolidate the help icon text.

  7. The "Help" link in the footer will need to change once I've updated
  the user manual.
