Add groups through CSV file

Hi dajan,
I was the developer that implemented this feature.
The old user/group quota is left exactly the same even if the new quota
is higher/lower. This I believe is the case when you set a new default
quota for users (the only default quota you could set before).
The reason for this is that
Richard, you cannot store the pw hashed, because you need to send the
plain text password to the LDAP server!
If you hash it, there's no way you can get the original password back
(unless you use a completely broken hashing function, in which case you
gain nothing at all ;-)
You can't encrypt it
Geoff, that would indeed be a good approach, as long as these secret
feeds can be revoked and recreated (for example if one is accidentally
disclosed).

Unfortunately, that doesn't solve the original request, which was to
import authenticated RSS feeds into Mahara. But it's a good idea for
importing Mahara into other systems.

Hello dajan,
Hugh and I had talked about your suggestion earlier. He already posted
his response. Updating existing quota is tricky as there is currently no
way to see in a big list which quotas are allocated to users (unless you
have database access). Therefore, updating the existing quotas

Geoff Rowland suggested this: How about using 'secret' RSS feeds

We should make sure that these secret feeds can be revoked and
recreated (for example if one is accidentally disclosed).
Ah, I see, we should indeed split that into a different bug.
** Description changed:
It would be extremely useful for users to be able to access
authenticated RSS feeds from within Mahara. This would allow users to
include content that is otherwise inaccessible without having to change
