Title:
  Add new Glogster iframe source

Status in Mahara:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Glogster updated its iframe embed code at least for the educational
  glogs to the following pattern:

  edu.glogster.com//glog

  Example: http://edu.glogster.com//glog/47901217;
  width="1300" height="960" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"
  marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" style="overflow: hidden;">

Since Glogster is a built-in iframe source, we should add it to the
  initial setup.

I only mark it as "medium" priority because site admins can add it
  themselves.

Smart Evidence - Phase 1 - SmartEvidence Module

Status in Mahara:
  In Progress

Bug description:
This bug is for implementation of the following aspects of bug
  1397759:

2 - Smartevidence artefact/plugin OR Site admin flag to enable
  SmartEvidence.:

  * For this phase, perhaps just dummy stubs to enable smartevidence(?).
If not enough time, for now, a flag in site options page that can be
pulled out later into its own smartevidence plugin.

  * A site administrator can turn on the “SmartEvidence” functionality
for the entire site, e.g. enabling a plugin. Once allowed in general,
institution administrators can decide whether to allow “SmartEvidence”
in their institutions or not. The functionality needs to be turned on
specifically, as it will add a lot of functionality, at least one menu
item etc. to the Mahara instance. Once the functionality has been
turned on and changes have been made either on the site or institution
level, it cannot be turned off anymore.

3 - Institution configuration to enable SmartEvidence for an
  institution.

  * Still need to work out affect on users with multiple institutions
(who are admins in one but not the others).

4 - New Admin menu for 'Smart Evidence':

  * New menu item in Administration – 'Smart Evidence'. With sub-menu
'Page Categories' – like group categories page.

  * Menu will appear only if Smartevidence plugin is installed.

  * For institutions, will appear if institution has switched on the
  flag.

  5 - Page/Collection Category :
  * New fixed system category 'SmartEvidence'.

  * Site administrators can set up categories for pages and collections
similarly to the concept of group categories.

  * The category “SmartEvidence” is provided by default when the site
administrator allowed the functionality in general and can only be
selected and seen by site and institution administrators when they
create institution or site pages / collections as these pages and
collections will need to be set up on the institution or site level.
Institution administrators only see the category when their
  institution allows “SmartEvidence”.

  * Only institution and site administrators will be able to see the
category chooser when creating pages and collections.

  * Pages and collections get categories added so that it will be easier
in the future to categorize pages and collections

Title:

Title:

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1619514] [NEW] Profile completion annotation feedback doesn't count down

2016-09-01 Thread Cecilia Vela Gurovic
Public bug reported:

This is a follow on to bug #1596809. The annotation feedback count does
not go down when the user places feedback on annotations.

To replicate:

1. Turn on the "Annotation" block
2. Set up profile completion for an institution
3. Make sure that at least 3 annotation feedbacks are required for the profile
completion.
4. Go to Configure site -> User settings -> Turn on profile completion.
5. Take a look at the block on UserA's dashboard. The user needs to be a
member of the institution in which the profile completion has been turned on.
6. Log in as UserB, create a page and place an annotation block on that page.
7. Share the page with UserA.
8. Log in as UserA and add feedback on the annotation block on the page of
UserB.
9.
Expected behavior: When UserA goes to the Profile completion block on her
dashboard, she should see "Give 2 feedbacks on annotations" as she already
placed a feedback.
Actual behavior: When UserA goes to the Profile completion block, she still
sees "Give 3 feedbacks on annotations".

I could replicate the issue in Windows 10 using Edge 13.

  Steps to replicate:

  1. Create a couple of user accounts and groups.
  2. Create a page as a user.
  3. Share the page with another user selecting the "Share -> Search for:
Users" option so that you are prompted to search for a user's name. Select a
name.
  4. Click the "Save" button.

Repeat the same for "Groups" and "Friends".

Expected result: The form saves properly.
Actual result: You stay on the form.

[Mahara-contributors] [Bug 1607743] Re: Page themes don't work with configurable theme

2016-09-01 Thread Kristina Hoeppner
By the looks of things, the theme is loaded first but then the
configurable theme is loaded after that. We will most likely need to
change that order in the code.

Title:
Page themes don't work with configurable theme

Status in Mahara:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Master mahara (but also on 16.04 and 15.10)

When users can choose a theme for their pages and the institution uses
the configurable theme, nothing is being displayed properly.

Part of the configurable theme is always visible but the acutal chosen
theme is used for the navigation, which does not look good. And then
  putting skins on top...

  To replicate the issue:

  1. Allow users to choose page themes: Admin -> Configure site -> User
settings -> Users can choose page themes.
  2. Create an institution and choose the configurable theme. Choose a dark
background color so that header nav items need to be white.
  3. Add a user to that institution.
  4. Set up a page as that user and give it a different theme.
Expected result: The theme overwrites the configurable theme completely like
it does when a an institution has a regular theme.
Actual result: Part of the configurable theme is still visible (see
screenshot).

The screenshot also shows how it would look like with a skin. The skin
doesn't influence it badly though. Just something to keep in mind for
  testing.

Title:
File extraction success screen 'continue' link hard to spot

Status in Mahara:
  New

Bug description:
When one uploads a compressed file, say a .zip or .tar file to the
Files section there is a 'decompress' button the y can click to
  extract the files.

On clicking the button it gives a list of files that will be
decompressed and on clicking 'decompress' button it should give a
progress bar as files are extracted and then a message in the bar with
  success information and 'continue' link.

This message and link are hard to see.

It would be better if either:

  A) When the extraction is completed one is redirected to the place the
'continue' link goes to automatically and have the $session display
the ok message, eg 'Created 2 folders and 6 files' there to avoid
  needing an extra click here.

  or

  B) If that is not possible have the success message appear below the
progress bar rather than on it and make the font a bit bigger.
