message to be saved and then modified from a browser. I thought about

I fixed it by following 'postfix integration' how-to. Previously I was
editing aliases by hand and I think this caused mailman and postfix
alias.db's to be out of sync.

Have you read the postfix readme file and set set up postfix integration?
If you use postfix integration, newlist will automatically deal

I can't find anything wrong in mm_cfg.py, and I've double checked my
membership in the list -- it looks fine, I'm a member.
