what i did to get that effect is set the lists to
moderated, whereby i have to say yes to anything that comes into the list. and
didnt give out the address to post to the list to anyone.

working on where we use the list as a notification tool for changed and
updates to corpret hosting and access solutions.

ok,
I am setting up mailman 2.0.8 on a freeBSD 4.4
system and when the wrapper is run by teh system (./wrapper post listname) it
returns this error
Failure to exec script. WANTED gid 1, GOT gid
0. (Reconfigure to take 0?)
I am pretty sure that this is a simple thing to fix
