I am seeing a strange problem and I am wondering if someone has any idea.
I am using google docs to create a newsletter which I then send to a
mailman mailing list.
Within google docs I use the feature "Email as attachment" to send to the
list.

characters but the information I found only relates to headers and footers.
My problem is that Mailman is not recognising characters such as the British
Pound symbol in the body of messages, so when a subscriber posts

Is there a way to prevent the list email address appearing when a user
chooses Reply to All?
It is not a problem with Reply - that goes to the poster - but Reply to
All still sends to the entire list - not desirable in our situation.

I searched and found some old scripts to clear all of the nomail
flags for every user in a mailing list but none of what I discovered
work with version 2.1.13 which is what is on my server. Can someone
please point me to a way to clear all the nomail flags for a specific

Our users are instructed to send an email to members-subscr...@tucsongrs.org
with their name in the message when they want to subscribe (we are a private
list). I, as the list admin, receive the email that there is a request to be
approved or disapproved but I cannot see their original message.
Maybe I'm missing this but my server only lets me send 200 per hour.
I need to send a message once per week to a club of 600.
I can't find a batch processing timer, is there one?

able to restrict attachments so only certain types of files can be sent

I finally got the configure file to run properly. I think it had to do with
the fact that my ftp client decided to transfer it in Binary and not ASCII.
That's the only thing I can think of.

I have figured out why my configure file did not work. It was not because I
told bash to try and run the script because I got the exact same error with

I'd like to find out if Mailman supports mail-merge - adding names
and other fields to the messages sent in an announcement mode.

Ok.. This probably makes total sense, but yet I am unable to fix this.
If it wanted 48 and got 99 ... why am i suppose to reconfig for 99??
Mailman CGI error!!!
The expected gid of the Mailman CGI wrapper did not match the gid as set
by the Web server.
Failure to exec script. WANTED gid
/mailman/ /home/mailman/cgi-bin/
..in httpd.conf as well right?
