Is there a way to run Mailman
on server with Python 1.5.2 my delicated server use
Ensim with Python 1.5.2 internally
for mostly all functions !!!
I had contact with the company
there the server runs and this is there reply on my qouestion to upgrade my
server to the newest Pytho
I have a problem with mailman,
When I send mail to the list this message is coming

I moved my lists over and they don't work. so i decided just to completely
recreate a list from scratch adding all of the members via mass subscription.
now when i send a message to the list it automatically rejects the message, ev
does anyone know how to use a forwarder from another server with a list to make it
appear as though the list is one that server?

I have looked at the shebang line (the #!) and all seems to be in order

The file is chmod'ed to 777 so everything should be fine there. However, my
host just enabled gcc for me the other day. I wrote a simple "Hello World"
program in C and even though I didn't get any compile time errors, the

I finally got the configure file to run properly. I think it had to do with
the fact that my ftp client decided to transfer it in Binary and not ASCII.
That's the only thing I can think of.
I am now getting this error:

told bash to try and run the script because I got the exact same error with
/bin/sh. I also got install to work. Thank you to those that helped.

see there are in excess of 5,000 people subscribed to the list. I send the

be working fine except somehow all mailman logging has ceased.
I am running fedora core 5. my permissions on /var/log are

list). I, as the list admin, receive the email that there is a request to be
approved or disapproved but I cannot see their original message. Is

I searched and found some old scripts to clear all of the nomail
flags for every user in a mailing list but none of what I discovered
work with version 2.1.13 which is what is on my server. Can someone
please point me to a way to clear all the nomail flags for a specific

I run a very small list (12 members). In the last month or so, every
single post arrives in plain text for everyone. No one is set to receive
plain text, and nearly everyone on the list posts in HTML, but it never

It is not a problem with "Reply" - that goes to the poster - but Reply to
All still sends to the entire list - not desirable in our situation.

I'm running MM 2.1.11 on Debian Etch4.0r3 with Postfix 2.3.8. I hesitate to
explain how I made this work... In fact perhaps I shouldn't. It could jinx

I've been searching FAQs and messages for references to using special
characters but the information I found only relates to headers and footers.
My problem is that Mailman is not recognising characters such as the British
Pound symbol in the body of messages, so when a subscriber posts
