Can Google Free Search be set up to use for searches of my Mailman
archives? How would I go about it? I searched the list archives here
but didn't find anything on the topic.
Also, the list in question is a list where archives are set up to be
viewable only by current list members.

to hold for now, but I don't understand why this would have changed
on its own. Happened to at least five of my lists, all on the same

Under Privacy Options/Subscription Rules (Mailman 2.1.4) are the
settings for either Confirm, Approve, or Confirm and Approve. On half
a dozen of my lists, even though they're set for Confirm, the setting

(under Privacy Settings) were mysteriously changed from Confirm to
Confirm and Approve. What could cause that setting to change,
seemingly on its own? There are no other unexplained changes that I
can see.
The only thing I've
Apologies if this is a duplicate message; I sent it yesterday
afternoon but never saw it show up on the list.
I have about a dozen lists running on Mailman 2.1.4 on an XServe with
OSX 10.3.9; all but one are set to send out monthly password
reminders, but none are going out. Other than that,
I'm currently running about a dozen lists using Mailman 2.1.4, which
came pre-installed on my Apple XServe with Panther OS 10.3.9. I see
this list and other lists are using 2.1.6, but I couldn't find
information on the Mailman site about what the changes are, or how or
if I should upgrade. My
looked through the Mailman FAQ and did a little searching in the
list archives, but didn't come up with any answers.
