I continue to get these messages when some cron jobs are running. I can see
that it is a permissions problems. But I have tried everything by changing
permissions and it still is having problems. This particular file that is
mentioned is not there. Someone please help me figure this out.

File /usr/local/mailman/bin/withlist, line 299, in ?
main()
File /usr/local/mailman/bin/withlist, line 267, in main

Has anyone had this problem in writing a script for mailman.
Thanks Mindy

Ok, I move an example list and the archive called zos to a new mailman

here. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a way to automate deletion by size of archives through mailman.
Has anyone done that out there. I want to delete any archives that have
grown large in size by date preferrably.

Is there any mailman setting that you would need to verify if you were going
to shut the server down, to make sure mail is queued. We use postfix with
mailman 2.1.6

I know this has been covered alot and I do see alot of talk in the
archives, but I am new to the whole, mailman/postfix/apache/redhat
world and the instructions are not clear to me because of that. Is
there anyone out there that has the actually settings and what files
to change in postfix,
to update. I hate to have to do this manually.
Any guidance would be great.

if they will receive the information. Just somehting that user have gotten
used to. When I switch them over to new mailman I do not want to have to
put something like this together, Was wondering if there is something close
I can give them in replacement. Hope this makes sense.

I trying to find out if mailman uses the md5 checksum or this has to be set
up with the installation. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I
have not been able to find it so far.

Does mailman have restrictions for passwords. Like a number or cap needs
in the passwords. I am not finding anything on that. I know in my
experience it just lets me put in anything for a password, wether it be for
owner or user?

One feature that is important to us is the ability to support
multiple domain names - i.e., with our current use of Communigate,
we can create lists for ecqnet.org, oh-pin.org, etc.
Is this possible with mailman?

I looked somewhat in the archives but am not finding information on what
port mailmanctl listens on. Or this whole email may show my ignorance on
the setup. But what I am trying to do is setup a warning in our nocol if
mailmanctl is down. I need a port number.
Thanks
I need to migrate from listproc to mailman. In trying to look at some of
the configurations. We need to find out when an individual list may have
rec'd mail. Is there a individual mail log for each list like in listproc.
Or maybe I am looking at this in the wrong way.I can look in the
if the mail is kept somewhere where we can retrieve. Not
where that mail is? Any guidance would be appreciated.

I want to set up an auto respond if a user request to be subscribed to a
list, there will be a message sent to them to verify that they want to
subscribe and then they will be subscribed. Has anyone attempted this?
