Of course non-list members who are not member of any of the other 2 lists should not be able to post. If you are willing to experiment, I've made a patch available that adds this capability. You can specify '@listb' in the 'accept_these_nonmembers' field of lista to allow members of listb to post to lista. (A leading '@' is taken to introduce a second list's name. Avoid making lista depend on listb and at the same time listb depend on lista.) This has been very lightly tested on a low volume server over the past couple of days, but it hasn't broken in an obvious way yet. If this is not possible yet in Mailman 2.1 I think this would be a very cool feature... Essentially the same question was asked a few days ago (see http://mail.python.org/pipermail/mailman-users/2004-September/039480.html). The lack of response to that post tells me that my gut feeling that this is not possible (at least not without hacking the Python code) is correct. -- Mark Sapiro [EMAIL PROTECTED] The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, Californiabetter use your sense - B. You can put them on the whitelist, but you can't point one whitelist of one list at a whitelist or subscriber list for another list. If this is a feature you'd like to add, please note that Mailman is an Open Source project, and your patches/code would be welcomed.
