I just discovered that the messages in the All Images, All PDF's and
Embedded Messages virtual folders viewable only via the preview window
which I no longer use by default. I cannot open any of them in a

3. edit, adding some markup.
4. toggle on the preview (⌃⌥⌘P)

something to do with the sending server not responding. I hit retry and
it ends up with a 'pending ' status. If I context click and hit send,
