and the pasted text in BBEdit? Without knowing what the original and
expected text are, it's difficult to diagnose the problem.

do you check your pointers if they are valid and if the data type is valid?
Because nul pointers (etc) mostly cause a crash

when I press the Reply button, I get the encrypted text as instead of the
unencrypted text of the mail I reply to.
after repeating this the third time, I finally get the normal text and can
reply.
I’m using Version 1.14 (5882), which is I think still beta.

sometimes the malformed message is sent by a human.

I handle contact form via a database which sends them as:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
The problem I see since some time, those messages are not decoded anymore in MM.
I don’t see the problem with mail-clinets like mail oder Canary.
Any idea?
