my email addy has multiple keys in my gpg keychain. how do i tell MM
which to use. i tried putting my own addy in the ~/Library/Application\

o i subscribed to Deleted Messages on the server
o i delete a message from my inbox with the DEL key
o i look in Deleted Messages; there are eight messages there but not
the one i just deleted

yesterday, i lost an email and spent a long time looking in vain. this
morning i found it. mailmate had put it in an Archives folder. i do
not know why, and i do not know why searchlight did not find it there;
th elatter probably my error. i do not use mailmate's archives and
doubt i want to.
mailmate was left running across the change from summertime (in europe).
the hacked display times in the summary frame did not make the leap.
quit and restart fixed.

it seems that mailmate's address book equivalent is entropic, getting
worse and worse over time, accumulating more and more mis-spellings,
silly aliases, etc. it never improves, only gets worse.
is there really no way to tell mailmate to either flush its address book
cache or to stop using it
it sits in Drafts with 10% green for ten minutes then fails. have
tried 465s 465p 465, all with and without ssl.

so i think i accidentally got it right from your instructions.
i created a smart mailbox which referes to all the mailboxes where i
want delete limits, see attached.
so i should just be patient and the smart mailbox will do the imap thing
on the referenced mailboxes at some unspecified time?
so my SO keeps all sent mail etc. the ~/mail/Sent folder has 97,000
messages going back to 2000 or so. mailmate is starting to choke and
fail every few days.
if she creates ~/mail/old/Sent mailmate will still see and have to
deal with it.
how are folk dealing with this?

for some folders, the summary window, the one which lists all messages
in a folder, insists on scrolling back to the top, the oldest messages,

mail in their account's mailboxen aside from the imap entry 0? i keep

i tell MM to compose a reply and hit Command/Emacs/Edit (^O) and find
myself in a message.eml buffer in fundamental mode. no headers.

It was a known issue with 1.13.2 (r5673 and thereabouts). Printing
works again on r5737 through r5757 (Version 1.14).

i generally prefer text rather than html. but sometimes i want to see a
message as html, and without my claws leaving the keyboard. so i tried
to figure out how to map a key to View/MessageBodyParts/HTML. clearly,
it goes in, e.g.

funny, i can't stop it :) assuming that by "open" you mean moving to

its mailboxes, i see an unread message. but none of the mailboxes has
that message. how can i find out which mailbox has the message?
it is marked as junk, but the mailbox with the type junk does not
contain it.

this is on a outlook.office365.com account (don't ask). i get untitled
empty mailboxes that i can not delete. they are often 'failed' or
'offline'.
i can take offline, take offline, and then remove. 15 minutes later,
they are all back, marked 'failed'.
any clues on how to remove?
