Thanks for your careful description. Wah, I want to open and edit and save as new name and location, but I guess I can relearn my pattern. Maybe I can teach Hazel to open .doc files in Downloads? hmmm, that might make a mess. So the upshot of this is that my issue is a feature, not a bug.

I've noticed that the 'Attachments' column vanishes when I switch to a different mailbox and then back. Mailmate 1.13.2 (5673). Is this a bug or a setting I've gotten wrong? I use View->Columns->Attachments to turn it on, but it gets turned off when I switch mailboxes. --Randall
