I have a smart mailbox set to show the contents of

deleted messages
Junk

and some of my online mailboxes for the account main:

main-trash
main-spam
main-junk
main-deleted messages

If I do a select-all, delete, delete sequence on the contents of this smart mailbox, most of the time, MailMate will crash.

If I do a select-all, delete and then highlight the Deleted Messages mailbox, and control-click, and select "Empty Deleted Messages", it will not usually crash.

Obviously, I'm simply trying to remove all the spam/trash/junk/deleted in one fell swoop instead of having to empty six different mailboxes each time.

Is there a better way to achieve this?

Bill,

Thank you for the considered answer and education regarding message
priority. I was unaware that Priority designations are non-standard.
After reading your reply I think that I will just use the Subject field to designate the Priority/Importance/Urgency of my outgoing emails that
are either High or Low Priority/Importance/Urgency.
