Andre,

This was not fixed in the last Test Build (r6292), to my observation, however I 
did implement a fix from the link you indicated and it looks darker black BG as 
others. Therefore my dock icon is no longer in “jail”.

Benny is busy with new builds and probably hasn’t addressed this issue yet, but 
you (or Steve) can file feedback on it if you like. IMO this issue is 
definitely cosmeticians related to MacOS icon development. I do not know if 
Apple plans to address this change.

It’s nice and quick. In the background of the .icn file, seems it squishes the 
black BG to 0 luminance value. Seems a more useful for these icons would be to 
show a growing when the app is running and will make a suggestion to Apple that 
that might be useful instead of the silly dot. I got the idea from an 
implementation in SpamSieve that does just that. So it is possible!
