*Position:- SAP BOBJ Consultant* *Location:-* * Southborough MA Duration:-6 month contract* *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* *Data Warehouse experience, , ETL, Informatica exp. BOBJ is a KEY FOR THIS PROJECT. * *GENERAL SUMMARY* • The Senior Data Integration Developer will assist the existing development team develop new and provide support to existing Business Intelligence applications. They trouble shoot issues, develop, test and support the migration of solutions. • Will be required to author technical design of functional specifications and progress the solution from design though the software development life-cycle to implementation. • Has a strong understanding of, and ensures adherence to, the IT processes and standards required. • The Senior Data Integration Developer will also be expected to be effective in both a team environment as well as working independently. They will primarily work under the direction of a BI Functional Area Lead. • Expected to show keen interest in learning new business intelligence applications and tools. *PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * • Create and maintain database storage structures and objects on Oracle and/or Greenplum where required. • Authors Technical Designs (TDs) that define how a functional design will be technically enabled. • Develops programs on Informatica as specified in Technical Designs ensuring that all Data Integration programming standards and policies are adhered to. • Develops Unit Test Plans to test Informatica programs and completes QA Peer Review documentation ensuring that all Data Integration standards and policies are adhered to. • Assist in Performance Tuning of ETL Processes to provide optimal performance under ever-increasing data volumes *SKILLS * • Broad understanding of Data Warehouse design, build and implementation tasks. • Deep technical understanding of Data Integration & ETL development, performance tuning and best practices (Informatica PowerCenter required up to 9.x, other tools a plus) • Deep understanding (both frontend and backend) of Oracle. • Experience of SAP BOBJ is desired but not mandatory. • SAP ERP/BW, SFDC or Greenplum systems experience a plus. • Ability to review existing ETL Designs and recommend Tuning Improvements • Ability to work in a team environment. • Unix scripting experience a plus • Control-M experience a plus • Excellent Written & Communication skills. • Ability to work independently. • Highly organized, self motivated, pro-active Vijay Saraswat Talent Acquisition Executive Tekshapers Inc. |1441 E Maple Rd,Suit#301,Troy,Michigan, USA Tel Off: 248.565.4747 | Ext. 108| F: 248.254.7211 | Email Id: vsaras...@tekshapers.com <hgul...@tekshapers.com> | W: www.tekshapers.com GTalk: vsaras...@tekshapers.com <ras...@tekshapers.com> * Please consider the environment before printing this email.
