Hi All,
I am trying to bulk load a series of XML resources into MapGuide. Each
Feature Source that gets loaded references a distinct SDF file stored in an
externally aliased directory. All these SDF files share the same feature
schema and classes.
What I want to do is for each SDF file, is to l

Autodesk MapGuide Studio 2009 beta offers Fusion support whereas the older
versions will support only the standard web layouts. MapStudio Open Source
supports both, with somewhat less Fusion editing capability.
Andy Morsell,
I have a question about fusion and viewing the associated data using the select
tool to view information about a data point or poligon area.
When using a shape file to plot points the data appears in the selection panel
when I click on the data point on a map it shows up fine, and displays the
I haven't seen it posted yet, so sorry if it has been. Will the current
version of MG Studio work with MGOS 2.0? Otherwise, any ETA on the release
of MG Studio for MGOS 2.0?
Thanks,

Solved. Line 8, LoadModule mgmapagent_module modules/mod_mgmapagent.so in
mapguide.conf was also commented out. I deduced that mgmapagent_handler was
most likely dependent on this. Uncommenting it and restarted things and the
mapagent is now working.
Wahooo!

That line was commented out in mapguide.conf. I uncommented it, restarted
Linux and restarted Apache and I am still seeing the same problem.

I don't suppose you can spell it out for me? PHP is not my forte and
the WebAPI docs for MGOS aren't exactly easy to navigate, in my books -
I can get around in PHP, but only by deconstructing existing
thingsan example would help me out a lot.

Can you check the mapguide.conf file found in
/usr/local/mapguideopensource/webserverextensions/apache/conf and see if there
is an occurrence of fcgi in there? I think that there needs to be a line:

Hi Andy,
This time I didn't find the time too bad, though I have done in the past,
when I put it down to not really having enough ram in my virtual machine.
Not sure that ever was the solution really!

If you are invoking SelectFeatures() from MgLayer you need to instantiate
MgMap with an MgSiteConnection object otherwise you'll get an Exception

Looks like it is sending you back the actual fcgi executable file. Not sure
what the fix is...

Here's what I get in Fiddler from Studio or from any mapagent operation from
the web tier tests:

When connecting with Studio, run a tool like Fiddler, in order to examine the
exact response you are getting from the server. Studio is probably swallowing
some exception.

Has anyone been able to build and successfully run MGOS 2, including any
prior release candidates, on Linux? If so, which distro and versions?
Thank you.

I just got to the same point on CentOS 5 and am seeing the exact same
problems. MapGuide Server starts successfully, PHP and Apache are working.
The PHP test page shows MapGuide API support. I was also able to login to
mapadmin and successfully load the Sheboygan package. But, I cannot do

Hi,
I resolved earlier problems by completely rebuilding my MGOS installation
from scratch from the latest svn versions and it seemed to get all the way
through without failing. I have even managed to get the server to run, which
is a step forward. However, I am having problems with mapagent now,
Hi!
At me a problem with assembly of a package mapguideaptinstaller-2.0. At
compilation there is a mistake - there is no library libexpat.la.
