I just created an InvokeUrl widget by adding the same from Widget
Management, and tried to edit the Xml file to add target as Taskpane and
specified the php page link in url . But the taskpane is displaying the
default taskpane page itself.

Update...
I stumbled across something that creates the WFS connection from a WMS
Layer. I tried this earlier but evidently had the code wrong. Both layers
show up in the Layers panel as it is added to the map, but the WMS layer
shows up and the created WFS does not. Code below:

As a follow-up, I can convert original .shp data sources into new .sdf files
using FDO Toolbox, then replace the packaged .mgp version of each .sdf file
manually with the converted, original .shp to .sdf data. This will work to
get things going on the new server.
