OK,
I tested with a sample GML file and the OGR FeatureSource will not validate
because Xerces or Expat support wasn't configured in.
If there is a rebuild of the FDO provider I think it would be advantageous
to support the OGC standard for data exchange GML. I don't know how simple
this is but
I use mapguide opensource every day with lot satisfaction and also with
mapguide maestro and mg-desktop, in a little company.
And there is a long time that i say me : i must donate to the mapguide
opensource project...
Today, i visit the sponsor page http://mapguide.osgeo.org/sponsorship; but
Here's a laundry list of blockers that I know of that are preventing us from
a working 64-bit build of MapGuide.
1. The FDO SHP provider's spatial indexing is not working properly on 64-bit
linux (breaks spatial queries on SHP files).
2. Quality of RDBMS FDO providers is an unknown quantity.
3.
Hi Remy,
If you wish to donate to me, you can use the Paypal link on the about dialog
of MapGuide Maestro (ver 3.0 and above).

Sure, i will do that, even if you stopped Maestro ;-).
But you don't answered to my questions, it's interesting to know who is behind
and what it is the financial concept.
I repeat my question for memory :
the project don't need money ? why not...
who is the principal financial contributor ?
I am an unpaid volunteer. I do this fully for personal skill building and
enrichment.
