The Property Report is a custom report for that particular data set. You
would have to write your own.
Try out this generic one:
All you need is to launch the InvokeURL (Basic and Fusion) to run it.

Perhaps try to simplify. Your shape files use DBF as the attributes, you
could just launch a web page that seaches for the field you need.

Then you can use a combination of the JavaScript API and Web API to zoom in.
For Basic
The fastest way to do that would be to store the X and Y in a database such
as Access etc and use ODBC to show the latest point in MapGuide. Just
refesh the map every so often to see the updated location.
The only code you would need is to refresh the map.

Hi All,
strange behaviour (even with Jackie's GITHUB) with Fusion.
1. Do not define overview map ("same as main map")

If you physically choose the overview map and not accept the defaults, the
layers appear once you zoom in. This is true in IMS 2

When Printing in MapGuide, the hidden layers show in the legend as icons,
but the names are missing, making a messy legend.
How can we suppress the hidden layers from appearing in the print legend?
thanks

JOINS to SQL Server might also be an issue, but I am not sure if that layer
is not inially visible if that would cause issues.
It would be great if FUSION would support tiled maps, then you can tile your
inital layers and speed things up.

HI, this might be systemic issue with FUSION and coordinate systems. I have
issues with the measure tool with any non-standard coordinate system

Hi Jon,
the issue might just be Maestro. Sometimes I have to use Studio (2011 with
MGOS 2.2) to get it right. I would recommend trying FDOToolbox to see if
its Maestro or not.

Ah, there is no place to type the Username and Password in ODBC within
Maestro.
Use the Rawconnectionstring instead.

You have to Edit Schema to choose the X and Y column in the data source so
you can use them to put points on the map.

Hi Jon,
I you have a table in SQL Server that contains your Geography/Geometry
column, you can join it to another table using a "VIEW". A query is a saved
Query (like in Microsoft Access) that you can use.
You can use SQL to connect the KEY in your table (i.e. PARCEL_ID or GIS_ID)
to the KEY in

1. MapGuide is running on IIS
2. WIndows Server 2008 R2 64 BIT
3. .NET Build
I think the issue is the initialization of mapguide with IIS on 64 bit
windows - this seems to take at least a few minutes (up to 5-8min). This is
not an issue with Apache just IIS and MapGuide on 64 bit.
I haven't tried Birdseye, but we put in StreetView using the google api and
OpenLayers with MapGuide here:

Yes, I have tested GeoRest with AIMS 2012 (not the exe stub just the IIS
version on Port 80). Works great. Just remember NOT to set the Application
to 32bit if you are running 64bit.

Thanks Jackie,
I was wondering about that. I can do it in Maestro but I have to manually
enter the Spherical Mercator extents of the map to get it to show up (no

The other issue is the Google Message: 'google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP' is

Ok, just a follow up: the issue is with Maestro 3.1 and not MGOS 2.2.
I just tried with Studio 2011 and it is fine.
