On Windows, you may try your luck with getting updated httpd binaries for apachelounge.com. No guarantees this will work or not as I do not know what the binary compatibility policy is around httpd modules on Windows.
On Linux, you may try your luck with building the relevant branch of MapGuide from source with an updated httpd tarball.
