The Canadian Cartographic Association (http://www.cca-acc.org ) recently developed both a Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Canadian-Cartographic-Assocation-lAssociation-Canadienne-de-Cartographie/177748108946882 ) and Twitter (http://twitter.com/CdnCarto ) page, and we have found this to have been a success in terms of reaching a much broader audience than just with our own listserv. The CCA welcomes any and all mapping-related posts to our Facebook and Twitter sites.
