I currently use Mapinfo 5.5 and Surfer 6.0. Surflink looks intriguing
and I was wondering what experiences others have had and whether or not
they use Surflink. Additionally, does anyone know if it will work with
Surfer 7.0?
Thank you

I think the reference is to the UseTrueColor setting in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MapInfo/MapInfo/Common, which should
be set to 1 for MapInfo to use full color resolution. You lose
transparency effects, but you also get rid of ratty pixelation of
plots.

I am sorry if this is a trivial question, but I cannot figure out how to

Greetings,
Just checking to see if anyone knows if MapInfo has done anything yet to
fix the various printing problems associated with 5.5. Having MI crash

have it print on the wrong size paper, etc. etc. is awfully

Anyone know how to make MI Pro free memory that its using while a .mbx is

running and never free's it till MI Pro is closed itself.

Thanks.

Hi,
I received many emails with ideas to my problem of not being able to

A good combination would be to use MapInfo DrivePlan on your PC then
download the Routes to MapPad on a PalmPC for the salesman to take
with him.
