MI MapPublisher

Hey all: Does any one have experience with MapPublisher and if so what are the benefits of this software? Does it produce indexes, legends, grid layouts, beautiful maps? Is MapInfo compatible with it? ANy info will be appreciated. Know any other software that will also dress up maps? Harold
