MI 5.0 and PDF Writer

We are trying to output from MapInfo 5.0 through PDF Writer 3.0. I select PDF Writer in the Print menu, and send the output, but MapInfo answers back "Cannot print". Other applications (WordPad, Word, ...) write .PDF's without problem. Any ideas? _
