Are you talking about patterns or lines and polylines. If patterns go
the list of MapInfo-L MapBasic utilities and look for the utility which
allows the customization of patterns (specfill.zip).

MapInfo won't allow you to map parallel lines so being able to offset the
second/third etc data set would be really advantageous. I have only seen
this functionality within another GIS package called
