My experience with MI 2 PDF says that the fonts are problematic if they aren't Post
Script. So the true type fonts used by MI will work by chance meaning: we never know
if they will come out right. I have a set of PS fonts from Adobe and since then it
works very well. Sometimes though,

I guess when it rains it pours. I just got done printing a series of maps using
Distiller. When I tried to print the PDF output from Acrobat to my HP 2000C, the text
disappeared. The text does show in the PDF image, though. Anyone have any experience
with this?

I have experienced similar problems in the past and found that non-rotated
text disappeared but rotated test stayed (particularly with halo). The
solution was to rotate the non-rotated text by 0.1 of a degree.
Strange but true.
