All Vertical Mapper 2.6 users,

Northwood is currently working towards solving the problem with crashes
related to exiting Vertical Mapper 2.6 and/or MapInfo. As far as we can
tell the program operates fine until either program is terminated. We
believe it may be limited to users running Windows 95. If there are any
comments on this topic please contact me at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Subject: MI Vertical Mapper V2.6 crashes

Hi,
I've just downloaded and installed version 2.6 of Vertical Mapper.
Everything seems OK except when I either exit MapInfo or close Vertical
Mapper
in which case I get a message along the lines of:

MAPINFOW caused an invalid page fault in
module VMGRIDMAN.DLL at 016f:028ad01d.

Stack dump:

It's not a major problem but it's a little disconcerting. Has anybody else
experienced this or got any suggestions as to the cause/solution? (I'm using
MapInfo verion 5.5.)

thanks,
             Barry
