Thanks to Flavio Hendry of Geographic Information
Solutions for replying to my question regarding the coexistence of VM2.1 with
MI6.0.
According to Flavio there is no problem running
VM2.1 under MI6
Also found out that programs compiled with; lets
say version 4.1 of MapBasic should be compatible with MI version 4.1 and all
subsequant versions. However if you compile a program using MapBasic 6 and try
to load it in MI 5.5 it might not work.
So I assume that because VM2.1 was compiled with
a older version of MapBasic it should always be upward
compatible.
