Is there a way, from WITHIN MapBasic, to run a windows program AND not
return program control to the MapBasic program until the windows program
has completed operation?

Steve - I was wondering if a couple of passes: snap to point, followed by
intersect or ?? might improve your running topology issues. We have found
simple intersect is a great detective for object error(s). Further
thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone knew if you could change the location of the
Startup.WOR. I would like MapInfo to read the Startup.WOR in another drive
like H:\ rather than c:\windows or c:\winnt.

Simple answer: The U.S. Army Map Service adjusted Austria
to the European Datum 1950 (International ellipsoid) in
