Hi Adrian,
so I can't see why MI cannot at least allow some backward compatibility.
I really feel the same. In my office, there are MI4.1Japanese, MI4.5J, MI5.0J
and MI5.5English.
MI5.5E can read every Workspace created by both same and lower Japanese
versions of MI ...though it cannot show

We are trying to print out a map sheet with four MapX windows. One
window is a UK location map and is static. Two windows are locator maps
which include a marker representing the location of the main map and a

Hi All!
I promptly award this week's virtual MapInfo T-shirt to Russel Mincher
who came up with a splendid idea for placing large chunks of text on a
layout.
His idea makes it possible to re-use, but at the same time easily alter
the stored information.

Tim, in his summary, brought attention to a site detailing Mapserver set-up for

Thanks to Ole Gregor and Richard Greenwood for replying to my question. Here are

my situation)

Has anyone ever heard of an addon called Sector Mapper for MapInfo Pro?
If so, could you email me, and tell me where you found it?

Hi Lyn
I suspect the explanation lies in the fact that MapInfo registers vector
layers to the raster layer not the other way around. Other than
"resampling" (or maybe rotating) your raster image in some package other
than MapInfo, I dont believe there is a solution to your problem.
Hope this
Hi Silke,
I've had problems with error handling in the past too. I found I could only get
the handler to work if it was at the very beginning of a subroutine (right
after the DIM statements).
Hope this helps
