I have encountered the following problem with this feature.

Imagine two polygons(a and b) with coinsident points (1 2 and 3)

Move point a1 and snap to point a2 (point b1 moves with it) and you now
have four nodes at the same location.

Now move the point again, on this occasion point a1 moves but takes with it
points b1 and b2 leaving you with 3 points at one location and a boundary
that doesn't remain in synch.

Surely on snapping to point a2 MapInfo should recognise the fact that
points a2 and b2 are surplus to requirements and delete both of them from
the object.
