Greetings, List. We need to create a MapX application (under VB) which will have its data portable (less than a CD's volume) but inaccessible from any software but the application itself. Naturally we considered MS Access tables which has both password protection and data encryption. However, saving a MapInfo table as an Access database table and then giving it a password - doesn't work. Neither MapX nor MapInfo can open it. What solution to this problem can you suggest?
