You might want to check out:
1) the MapInfo ProViewer viewer (contact MapInfo)
2) the Geographic Explorer, a free viewer for MapInfo files and many other vector and
image files. You can download it for free from http://www.bluemarblegeo.com.
3) Directions Magazine also offers a free 'Universal Data Viewer', available for
download from their site at http://www.directionsmag.com
