btw. the original PR does mention it to be compatible [2]. Are you trying to compile ZK-3.5 with Hadoop-3.3.6 or Hadoop-3.3.6 with ZK-3.5, If later and then if the compilation fails, then it shouldn't be an incompatible change, right? or do we need to maintain compat that way as well? Hadoop 3.
