Hi,
We are using MapServer 6.4.1. We set up time extent in map file like this
"wms_timeextent" "2016-05-23/2016-06-01"
"wms_timedefault" "2016-06-01"
If the time value is out of time extent in the request, for example
http://mapserver/service.=2016-06-05
I think it should return error
The other common issue is when layer status is set to ON or OFF (not DEFAULT),
and no layer is specified in the CGI/WMS request.
