Consider also the setting wms/wfs/ows_enable_request "*" to enable/disable

what about variable substitution? Something like "the_geom from (select

Holger,
your request contains PropertyIsLike conditions only. So I don't expect the

and WFS 1.1.0? Do these requests return any results or errors?
Holger,
can you post the full request sent to MapServer?

Hello,
with Apache you can set MS_MAPFILE pointing to the desired mapfile and
MS_MAP_NO_PATH in order to disallow overriding it with &map= in the url.
Using this, you even don't have to use &map= at all.

Hi Andrea,
the inaccuracy may rest upon the resolution defined in your mapfile. By
default, MapServer uses RESOLUTION 72, I think. This is not quite correct
for OGC WMS, because this standard assumes a pixelsize of 0.28 x 0.28 mm²
which is ~90.7 dpi. Not sure if you can set floating point resolutio

Hi,
I'm interested in querying a MapServer 5.6-beta4 WFS 1.1 service with different
projection parameters.
According to chapter 14.3.3 of the wfs 1.1 spec one can define different
reference systems for the bbox (GET-style)
&bbox=4393767,5877790,4673506,6071483,epsg:31468

WSS/WAS requires authentication. I wonder if and which http_referer
header is usually sent to the server when using openlayers. You could
check if this header either contains the url where your site runs or if
it is empty/not set for clients not sending this header. This can be
realized in the
Hi Travis,
currently there's no way to hide a layer. There's a ticket on it:
http://trac.osgeo.org/mapserver/ticket/1952 I'm using this solution since

currently there's no activity on this topic. See

Hi Travis,
you can set an OPACITY value (0-100) at the layer level. See

Hi,
the documentation at http://mapserver.org/mapfile/variable_sub.html tells about
using cookies for variable substitution. Can someone provide a working example?
I can get substitution working by using get/post request parameters only.

Hi,
I faced a problem when drawing layers from remote WMS. Some services not
