Mark, Can you run this request in gdb and do a backtrace after it crashes? Hopefully your executable is compiled with --enable-debug gdb /path/to/mapserv run QUERY_STRING='everything after the ? in the url request' backtrace quit And post the output. This will probably be more useful at identif
